CONGRATULATIONS SARA

All members of the FPC would like to congratulate there President and Instructor Sara Townley. Sara recently represented the club in the PCAQ Riding For Disabled Personality & Charity Quest. Sara's dedication saw her with success in receiving runner - up in both the personality and charity quest. Sara enjoyed an offical dinner & presentation night in Winton along with contestants from Richmond, Winton, Julie Creek, Longreach, Herbert River & Toowoomba. Well done Sara.

On the 17th & 18th October 2009 the FPC held a wonderful weekend of horse sports, jumping, prizes & smiles allround. It was great to see every competitor however young, old or riding ability go home with a prize. The feature events each afternoon were a hit and the Old Fashioned Stake Race run on heats was alot of fun to watch. With the help of so many great sponsors the prizes, ribbons, sashes and trophies were just amazing. All FPC members rode well and the improvment in riders was easily seen and showed with personal best times. Check results and photos on the RESULTS page. A special mention must go to sponsors, helpers, members and those who travelled from other clubs to support the weekend. THANK YOU.

Magnetic Island Camp

On October 23rd the FPC members set off on an adventure 4 hours away in Townsville. Alot of activities were squeezed into the weekend, some being Tenpin Bowls at 10pm. Along with Ice Skating, shopping, riding on beach & water activites at Magnetic Island.
